Being with your favorite person everyday and live a fantastically romantic life without pain and struggle, is what many people think love is. But in reality, romantic love fades away over time due to pleasure hormones diminishing. Then love would turn into friendship. This is why a lot of people cheat on their partners, because they have to find a new person to get that feeling of romance back. Many mistake infatuation for love; love is about sacrificing, giving, patience and accepting the imperfections. infatuation is just about taking, seeing only the perfections. What does patience mean? It means you have to learn to tolerate the shortcomings of your partner; their bad manners, bad habits, faults, weaknesses and flaws. In fairy tales, a prince and a princess can just love each other every day and never quarrel. But in reality, quarreling is part of a relationship. It takes time for two people with different personalities and thoughts to learn how to get along with each other. Loving someone actually brings responsibility, because you have to take care of your lover and protect them, even if it causes you pain. Being in a relationship is actually being restricted; you cannot do whatever you want like when you are single, you have to consider what your lover may think of what you do.
