Is my sentence grammatically correct ?

Speedboats are fast and exciting; however, They are quite dangerous, and require adequate training before driving.

Hi That second sentence doesn't quite work in English, because it sounds as if the boats themselves require adequate training. (The subject of the sentence is still holding on to the second verb, if that makes sense) - They are quite dangerous and it requires adequate training before driving one. Dave

Speedboats are fast and exciting. However, they are quite dangerous, and you require adequate training before driving one.

However provides adequate connection to the previous sentence so you don't need a semi-colon as well.
