Is My Sentence Correct?

Hello Teachers

I would like to know if the following sentence is correct:

1. He narrowly lost.

OR

He lost narrowly.

Those are both possible. The emphasis is slightly more on "lost" in the first sentence, and slightly more on "narrowly" in the second. If in doubt, I would use the second.
