Is my sentence correct?

John, I am really upset after seeing the appraisal rating given by you.
I am really not getting any interest to work. I would like to take two weeks off so that I will have peace of mind. Whether or not you approve my leave request, I will definitely take it as I need some peace of mind.

I am really not getting any interest to work. (I have no idea what you mean. Your work isn't interesting?)

Whether or not you approve my leave request, I will definitely take it as I need some peace of mind. (I would not write an email when you are upset.
