Is my sentence correct ?

0 "Should someone prove beyond doubt that an accident caused the fire, the police will naturally release the man they are at present holding on suspicion of arson."02br

00 I believe there's nothing wrong with the sentence. However, some friends of mine argue that I shouldn't omit "that" or "whom" before "they are at present...". What do you guys think ?02br
