Hi Lynn, Do you want to ask someone (who has taught more than one class) the size of the class with the most students? What was the largest class size you have taught? Maxim um means you cannot go above it.

What was the largest class size you have taught?
Maximum means you cannot go above it. Even if someone taught a class with 50 students once in the past, it's still possible to have 51 later on.
