IS MY paraphrasing ok?

I fancied a change = I imagined a change

Top answer

Hasibul Alam I fancied a change = I imagined a change No. It's more like I fancied a change = I wanted a change = I was in the mood for a change. By the way, the verb "to fancy" is not used in American English, or virtually never, but we do understand it.
