Is my paragraph good to go?

It is for my peer-reviewed article. The paragraph below is my thoughts of the article I peer-reviewed on.

"I like to read all of this article because it helps me to understand my hair better. I had been taken care of my afro hair for many years, and I know how hard is taking care of my hair. I am taking Introduction to Chemistry class. Some terms in the article illuminated up the uncertainty of chemistry terms. Also, this makes me realized that I should not have my hair permed a long time ago. This article could be the perfect publication for those who want to have natural hair like me."
