Essay & Composition Writing

Is my motivation letter good enough???

At undergraduate level, my interests became more focused. Although physiology and radioactivity came easy to me, it was biochemistry and molecular biology that really captured my interest. We were fortunate to have good laboratories and excellent professors. I found that molecular biology was an interdisciplinary undertaking.

I am looking forward to being a part of the work being done in the labs of the Lebanese University under the supervision of Prof. Bassam Badran and his colleges . The recommended aspects of the subject suit my abilities well. I have performed well in all science subjects as well as my professional training backgrounds make me an ideal candidate for this masters program, and find it challenging to apply my knowledge to solving practical problems.

I am interested in the study of Molecular Biology because it involves manipulation of DNA that are defines us as a species. The study of organisms as diverse as humans, mice and yeasts brings us closer everyday to the answers we seek. Perhaps there will come a time when research about the secrets of life will eventually culminate in an understanding so profound that it will allow us to tell just from a simple genetic mapping, the kind of life an individual will have, his strengths and his weaknesses. And the code that extrapolated molecules that make him the person he is, and try to create DNA dependent methods as solutions for many unsolved mysterious diseases as cancers and immune deficiencies.

My life experiences have molded me in to a hardworking and what I would call an "unflappable" person. I have learned that in science (and life) it doesn't hurt to have a healthy sense of humor. My future goals include establishing a career in research and educating people about science. Scientific research has its origins in a very fundamental human character -- curiosity. It is very important though, to ask the right question. Research in Molecular Biology in the Lebanese University has raised many relevant questions and I would like to be one of the people working towards the answers.

Sincerely,
