Is my memo correct?

I am a student of a Business Communication class and asked to write a memo. Our assignment assumes that we are a head of a hypothetical Accounting Department and asking our Training Director to sponsor a Writing Course for seven of my staff. Here, I am also recommending someone to conduct the Writing Course. Please tell me comments, suggestions, and details omitted. All the names here are made-up. Thank you.

Subject: Writing Course Needed

Our Accounting personnel is in need of a writing course. There have been evidences of writing deficiencies, as shown by our Accounting Personnel. Although they show excellent technical skills, these don't carry in their writing. They need help.

>They lack training in clear writing-word selection.
>Their sentence design are hard to follow.
>Their message grammar are illogical.
>They have wrong usage of punctuation.

May I request that seven of my staff to undergo a writing course. I recommend those who have been working with us for not less than five years.

>Jesicca Caballero
>Kenneth Kathleen Hufancia
>Kim Duca
>Sarah Jade Hernandez
>Jet Villamor
>Charliemagne Posugac
>Raiza Joy Sarte

I suggest that Professor Meljohn Tatel to be the one to conduct the writing course. He has been conducting a writing course since year 2000 and has gained excellent recognition in many companies. In fact, he has won nobel prize, upon writing a book for correct writing.

I would put a salutation and a closing as well-- that's only polite. Since memos are very informal communications, you can format them any way you wish; however, you have chosen a very formal style which I feel deserves a greeting (I presume you were going to sign it!)

As for further detail, it seems adequate as it is unless you would like to enclose/attach documents written by those st
