Is my grammar correct

Have you posted the adjustment entries of XYZ account? Please send me the final report after you post the adjustments.
Thanks!

"of" seems to be the wrong preposition, and an article is also missing. Assuming "adjustment entries" are items that will be incorporated somehow into the XYZ account, I would suggest this: Have you posted the adjustment entries to the XYZ account? The second sentence is OK.

  • Probably I would write "after you have posted", but your version is not wrong.

The adjustment entries are related to XYZ or for XYZ. So the preposition is still " to the"? Thanks GPY

If they are related to the account but not actually incorporated within the account then "to" is probably not correct. It may be that "for" is suitable. It is quite hard to judge without knowing the exact relationship between the adjustment entries a

I believe "after you post" is more likely used by Americans, but "after you have posted" is usually used by the British. Correct me if I am wrong. Thanks.

Americans use "you have posted"
