Is "most unfortunate of accidents" OK

Mr Ho suffered the most unfortunate of accidents when a fallen tree branch caused him to lose of his motorcycle and crash into a railing.

Is "most unfortunate of accidents" correctly used?

Thanks.

Yes. Something is wrong at the end of the sentence. Probably it should say "lose control of his motorcycle".
