Is it wrong to use the simple past for "During/Over/In:?

I am going to make up a sentence with "During/Over/In".

(ex) During/Over/In the past two weeks, I looked for the best deal on computers. Yesterday, I found the cheapest computer at ABC.

Is it grammatically correct to use the simple past for "During/Over/In" in my sentence? Thanks.
