Is it wrong to say "It is common that..." ?
According to my English dictionary, it is gramatically wrong to say "It is common that a woman feels depressed after giving birth". It seems I must say "It is common for a woman to feel depressed". Why can't we use "common" with that-clause ? I beg you to help me.

I think that "It is common for" is generally by an expression with an infinitive, such as your example: It is common for women to be depressed....
"It is common that" can be followed by a non-infinitive expression, such as: It is common that women feel depressed....
