Is it still called, "Indirect object"?

1. "He lend his friend the book"

2. "He lend the book to his friend"

Hi. I'd to know if the 2nd phrase is still called "Indirect Object" if you reverse the verb and noun position, or is there another name for it?

You mean 'lent'. In #2, 'friend' is just a prepositional object.
