Is it right to use "why" to make a question?

Hello,

The original is the following sentence.
{She answered me with an angry look.}

= She made an angry look as a reply to me.
= So, a reply to me through an angry.

Can I make a question that "Why did she answer you?" to the original sentence?
And the answer: With an angry look.

The another similar sentence like this: And that believing you may have life through His name.

Can I make a question that "Why may you have life?"
And the answer: Through His name.

Thank you for your help.

Hi MM,

Do you mean that though they are not as a result of an angry look and His name, I can use How and Why or only How?
