Is it right to say this?

How was your weekend spent with your family?

Me: Nothing much. We didn't stay home together

(I'm saying that my family was busy with work and don't have time to stay with me)

How do I master answer unfamiliar questions in natural English? I'm an introvert. My language and grammar are not good even in my native language. So I decided to improve my English cause I want to pursue a better career.

Work on this in your own language and environment.

If you're shy about talking, it doesn't matter which language you speak. Your ability to hold up your end of a conversation won't improve. So you may need to make more of an effort than most other people.

The best way to open up a little is to ask a lot of ordinary, ever
