By the way, "is it right English" is not right. You should use

"Is this correct/good English?" or "Is this right?"

Also, you should put your question in the body of your post even if that means repeating the subject line.

I wish I knew why "the above statement" is OK, but "the below statement" is not at all OK. It's probably better to but the adverb second either way. Also, questions take a question mark:

Is the statement below correct grammatically?

Is the statement above correct grammatically?

In formal writing, both "above" and "below" used that way are frowned upon, and you should find some other way to point to your object.
