Is it proper to use "Part of the XXXX Group"

I work for a company that is part of a big group of companies. The last portion of our email signature says "Part of the XXXX group". I thought it should be "Part of XXXX group".

Please tell me which is grammatically correct.

Thanks AlpheccStars. Is there a difference when we use "Part of the XXXX Group" & "a division of the XXXX Group". I am just curious. In the second example we are using 'a'. Does it make a difference?

"ABC, A division of " means that ABC is one of many divisions of the enterprise.

"ABC, Part of the *** Group" means that ABC is part of the entire Group.
