Is it possible to treat some adjectives like nouns by adding my, a, an, the, -s, -es?

"beloved, mechanical, hypothetical, homosexual, basic" are all adjective, but is it possible to treat them like nouns by adding "my, a, an, the, -s, -es? If possible, could you write what 1~14 mean or when I can use them? or you can just explain with an example you prefer.

5. Mechanicals are...

6. A hypothetical is...
