I think your problem is, based on observation, your basic English skills which needs to be improved first in my opinion. Because your context has been very difficult to understand. For instance, I am not sure what you tried to say but I'd take a wild guess on this sentence. Don’t you mean “to show the difference in bold or italic, I will have to revise or modify the report coding which is rather complicated”? As Clive has advised you, please write a paragraph to describe what you do so that we can evaluate what you need to work on.

I used to be a programmer. I am familiar with VB and C#. Still, I still have a lot of difficulties understanding your sentences. You do not give enough context. For example, I do not know the acronym "POD". Here is my best guess for re-writes in correct English

1) The coding for the report will be much more complex if it is required to show the differences using bold or italic type face. It would be much simpler to display a remark:: "Difference in POD"
2) I cannot access the shared folder on the server. The account privileges may not be set correctly. Could you please investigate?

3) (I assume you are talking about Visual Studio)
The default language is set to be VB. Is there a way to change the default from VB to C#?
4) (I really have trouble understanding your question...)

There are records displayed without any red text. They appear in both ACR and DOC columns. How can I (change, edit, delete, move, ...) them?

I would advise you to make several short simple sentences instead of long complex sentences. These would be much easier to understand.
