Is it ok to use "subconscious-like"?

In the context of robotics, I'm trying to describe a robot's behavior that resembles a subconscious behavior of a human (e.g. scratching your legs when nervous). I'm wondering if using "subconscious-like behavior" would be correct.

panda navy 169 I'm wondering if using "subconscious-like behavior" would be correct. It is very clumsy, but I can think of no concise improvement beyond creating a proper defining sentence.
