Is it 'next to the previous'?

HiWhat is the term for the entry which comes before the previous entry in sequence? Is it 'next to the previous'? For instance, I can say 'please refer to my previous post', but what I should say for the post which comes before the previous post. I mean does there exist a particular term for this? Hi, eg Please refer to my post before last. eg Please refer to my earlier post . The word penultimate is not used often in casual and everyday English.

Do you mean "before the previous entry," or "before the last entry"?
(I'd be inclined to call the present entry the last entry -- unless it's incomplete.)

"Next to last" (or "next to the last") is not uncommon in the US.
