Is it Musician's, Musicians' or Musicians?

We have a "Musician's Open Jam Night" and we are making a sign.

Would the proper usage be with an apostrophe before the s, denoting ownership or possessive?

With an apostrophe after the s, denoting multiple ownership possessive plural?

Or, no apostrophe as in more than one musician.

Musician's Open Jam Night

Musicians' Open Jam Night

Or, Musicians Open Jam Night

Thanks.

The first two can be argued from different points of view. I think that the third one is always correct. Think of it as open jam night for musicians rather than of , showing possession.

Thanks Philip. There is still an ongoing discussion on this topic. Are you aware of any references online that cover this topic. If I present an argument, I would like to provide whatever support is available.

Thanks again.
