Is it M.D.s or M.D.'s?

Our organization uses the periods in doctors' titles. Do we need an apostrophe to creat the plural of M.D. (M.D.'s)?

If your organization specifiies that it uses the period, then it should have a style guide that should tell you how to handle this. I assume there is a reason you don't want to use the phrase "medical doctors," which would circumvent the issue? I would not use the the 's, but consult your communications department and ask them for the style guide.
