Is ‘it is too/very necessary’ correctly used in my sentence below?

Is ‘it is too/very necessary’ correctly used in my sentence below? I think it is, but I’m not sure. I’m not a native speaker.


“There is no cure for Ebola, but there are medications that can slow down the progression of the disease,” an African doctor noted. “It is too/very necessary to stress the significance of preventive measures against the transmission of the disease such as avoiding coming into direct contact with any infected person.”
