Is it incorrect to have two "and" in a sentence?

He then trained in General Nursing at XXXXXX Medical Center, Victoria, and Physcotheraphy and Sports Medicine.

Top answer

I might say "and in" to clarify, especially if the second two were part of the same degree. Otherwise, maybe, he trained in general nursing, physiotherapy (fix this) and in sports medicine. If they are separate, a serial comma would clarify.

  • If you wish to be extra clear, reverse the order if they don't have to be sequential.
