Is it "in" or "on"?

Hi,
I am working on my resume and need to know which phrase is correct:
"Objective: To make an impact in our society..." or "Objective: To make an impact on our society..."

It should be on, but write the whole sentence. We can shorten it. I'm sure what follows is "by doing thus and such" so your goal could become "To do such and such for the benefit of my company and society as a whole."
