Is it grammatically correct to put "in" before " there"?

I have a question about the sentence below.

I went to the shopping mall and I made the glasses in there.

I think we don't have to put " In" before " there " in this sentence.

Am I correct?

Right. I would not use "in".

Also, I'm guessing that you did not personally make the glasses. You had them made by someone else. That would be as follows:

I went to the mall and had the glasses made there.
