Is it grammatically correct?

The following two orders were received from M/s Tonon and M/s trend on [date] respectively.

Top answer

There would have to be two different dates to use "respectively" there. If the two orders are different, the first-named for Tonon and the second for Trend, and they were both received from the two people on the same date, you have to move it. "Respectively" always takes commas.

  • I don't know what "M/s" means, so I'll change it to "Ms": The following two orders were received from Ms Tonon and Ms Trend, respectively, on [date].
