is it formal using the word "yesternight'" in mails

I dont even sure about this new word "yesternight" is existing or not.. but we can simply recongnize it as "yesterday" ie it does mean "last night"

Hello, sameeerali — and welcome to English Forums. 'Yesternight' (like 'yestereven') is not a new word but an old word, no longer used except in poetry, for instance. It means 'last night'.
