Is it correct if I say to my professor who told me in his email that he is very busy to send me a letter of recommendation below sentences?

Please, do not hurry and take your time. I am not in rush for a letter of recommendation. Please, send it anytime that is more convenient for you.

But that letter is from 2014. I requested to get a letter with the header which indicated 2015 on top. After I sent an email to him 1 week ago, today he told me that at this moment he is very busy. The 2014 letter should be just fine, after all, it is only January! I think you are being a bit too meticulous. Reviewers are much more concerned with the content than the date...
