Is it correct to use you or them, when asking if something has happened to?

Which is the correct way to ask. if someone has had something happen to them? Do you ask, "Who's not afraid to admit, that it has happened to you?" or is it correct to ask, " Who's not afraid to admit, that it has happened to them?". Such as, been taken advantage of.
