Is it correct to use 'Swipe' with an analog stick?

Is it correct to use 'Swipe' with an analog stick?
It's not actully an analog stick,rather a flat button, but it moves every direction.

Is it correct to say that 'Swipe the key to the right', or 'Swipe the key upwards.'?

Swipe means a strong sweeping blow or to move an object very quickly across something, such as your finger across the button very quickly and without enough pressure to push against it.
