Is it correct to use cycle counting term in this sentence?

"For 6-points Huen's method, the interval is partitioned into a series of block as well and in each block containing six equal subintervals. Cycle counting by this method is illustrated in Figure 2 as follows:"

What I mean with cycle counting is the performance of the method by showing the interval of the method itself.
