Is it correct to say to my manager that:

7 weeks past, from the time my feet was fractured. I stopped using of crutches and i started to walk by myself. However, my ankle and my muscles are still very weak. I need to do more exercise to make them ready because as you know my job involved many physical activity and i need to run always. I hope that I will able to come back to my job at the beginning of the next month.
