Is it correct?

Hello, I want to ask if this sentence is correct:
I think it will be better if I meet you when I will arrive in UK
or it should be :
I think it will be better if I meet you when I arrive in UK

Top answer

domukas00 I think it will be better if I meet you when I will arrive in UKor it should be :I think it will be better if I meet you when I arrive in UK Only the second one "I think it will be better if I meet you when I arrive in UK " is correct in Standard English to me. We don't normally use a 'future tense' in time clauses as such.

I agree with Laborious, the second is the one that works. I would say the UK, though.
