Is it correct?

Hi,

I recently came across a sentence like this

With the advent of the new Admin interface in Analytics, we are renaming profiles to views.

Isn't it "renaming profiles as views'? or "renaming profiles views'?

Thanks!

I think Profiles and Views are proper nouns as such the sentence is correct from a grammar perspective. However, the writer must capitalize both words similarly to "Admin" and "Analytics".

My first comments have to do with capitalization. If these truly are names on a GUI or component parts of this "Admin Interface" then they should probably be capitalized.

If you use the word "changing" instead of renaming, you have to use "to."
We are changing the name of Profiles to "Views."

Otherwise, you can say, any of the following:

"...we are renaming Profiles
