Is it correct?

Hi! everyone.Could you tell me if this sentence is right?
-I love her everything barring her habit of lying. Is my use of "barring" here correct.I read it in a site that "barring" is equivalent to excepting or except for.
Thanks!

I wouldn't use barring in your sentence. I would say: I love everything about her except her habit of lying. Other members may have other suggestions.
