Is it correct?

We did not need to use any cutter / sharp obejct to open this cargo as the item was wrapped with paper and then packed in a wooden box. Upon inspection, it was found to be damaged. This damage must have occurred at the time of packing as they sent it to us as it is. We did not understand, why they are claiming that this was occurred at our end . This is very ridiculous, by stating the false statement.
