Is it acceptable in informal conversation?

In my oral self-introduction, can I use “about”in the following way?

I know it is not acceptable in writing. But is it acceptable in informal conversation? Thanks for your help.Emotion: smile

About my hobbies, I like playing chess and listing songs.

About my strengths, I am a good thinker and quick learner.

As to my family, my father is a government employee, and my mother a teacher.

It sounds as if you are asking about this in the context of preparing for an interview for either a place in a university or a job, and these hypothetical responses are what you are thinking of giving to the question, "Tell us a little about yourself."
