Hi everyone!
I've read the following sentence in a student's book. It looks weird to me. The task was to rewrite the given information in the present simple:
Term-time: 24-hour access all week. The library opens 24 hours in term-time.
The question is why it is correct.
Thanks in advance.
It is not correct. The library opens when the librarian unlocks the door. It can't do that continuously.

It is not correct. The library opens when the librarian unlocks the door. It can't do that continuously. I would answer the book's question "The library is always open during term time", and then argue that "open" is a predicate adjective there.
