Is it a correct sentence?

Hi everyone!

I've read the following sentence in a student's book. It looks weird to me. The task was to rewrite the given information in the present simple:

Term-time: 24-hour access all week. The library opens 24 hours in term-time.

The question is why it is correct.

Thanks in advance.

It is not correct. The library opens when the librarian unlocks the door. It can't do that continuously.

  • It is not correct.
  • The library opens when the librarian unlocks the door.
  • It can't do that continuously.
  • I would answer the book's question "The library is always open during term time", and then argue that "open" is a predicate adjective there.
