Is "increased" the correct word in this sentence?

Hi,

Is "increased" the correct word in the context below? Any other correction needed?

"In this study, noise annoyance among individuals was significantly different before and after the educational intervention (p = 0.012). The increased sensitivity is likely to be caused by the increased attitude and knowledge.
