Could you tell me if this is grammatical? I think it should be "has long before been".
Practical English Usage by Michael Swan says:
I met that woman in Scotland three years ago. (NOT... three years before)
vs. When we got talking, I found out that I had been at school with her husband ten years before. (NOT...ten years ago)
