Is "has" an action verb? A helping verb? A verb of being?

In the sentence, "She has an apartment."-- The "has" here functions more like a transitive verb. Am I correct?

And in this sentence, "She has helped many charitable organizations"-- The "has" here is obvious to me being a "helping verb".

But then, I cannot form a sentence using "has" as a sole verb of being that confuses me since I've read some notions that verbs of being should act like an equator of one thought to another. (She is she--- She =she).

So what is has?

It's not just like a transitive verb. It is a transitive verb.

In perfect-aspect constructions, HAVE is an auxiliary/helping verb.

HAVE does not mean BE.

screamerer, I meant being the only verb of being, as in the sentence, "She is she", where "is" is the only verb.
