Is grammar correct?

I had worked in Joe's Kitchen for four weeks and I changed a lot during the four week working experience. First of all, my English was very weak on the first day. I didn't know what to say when the customers made an order. Then after asking the staff who was working near me. Then, I started to get the hang of it. I know how to say when the customers come in the shop. The most exciting thing that I enjoyed the most was when I have a chance to cook in the kitchen which I liked because I love cooking. Cookery was my favourite subject back when I was in primary school. I cooked Scampi and Chips that is very tempting that you will never stop eating it. It was the extraordinary thing in my life, working in the restaurant.

During your last school holiday, you did four weeks of paid work experience.

Write an email to your friend about your work experience. In your email, you should:

• tell your friend about where you worked

• explain how your work experience helped you to improve your English

• say what you enjoyed about the job you did.

The pictures above may give you some ideas, and you should try to use some ideas of your own.

Your email should be between 150 and 200 words long.

You will receive up to 10 marks for the content of your email, and up to 9 marks for the style and accuracy of your language
