Is "Deactivable" OK?

Hi,

I am a software developer.

I am looking for a word to describe a feature which can be active until a given date or always active.

Can I say this feature is deactivable? Or can you advise a better option?

Top answer

ask the editor or project manager on your team. Q: Why not just say the feature "can be turned off" or "can be deactivated"? It sounds like its a simple setting to switch on/off, perhaps.
