Is correct? About a movie review

It stars a guy about who no one outside of his family (and hometown) know much about him, and was done for a budget of around $30 million. That combination of elements adds up to one of the best sci-fi films of the decade and one of the most entertaining movies of 2009.

Is correct the grammar teachers? Thanks in advance.

I'd say, It stars a character who is little known outside his family and hometown. and I'd also break the first sentence into two, since there are two separate thoughts. The film was made with a budget of around $30 million.

  • It would sound better to say, This combination of elements...
  • but honestly I think it would be better to explain a little bit more about the story, since just a mysterious character + $30 million do not necessarily equal a great movie.
