Is beauty in the eye of the beholder?

Hello everyone!
People say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Do you also think so?

I'm currently working on my research named "The concept of beauty in different languages" (Russian, English and French in particular), that's why it's very important for me to know what native speakers all over the world think of it. I would really appreciate it if you were so kind to answer just three questions.

1. What does the word "beauty" mean to you?

2. Who or what can be beautiful?

3. Please write 5 associations to the word "beauty".

Please indicate your age and native language.
Thank you very much!
