I was writing something about a book I read, and I wrote the sentence "Fireheart is in a clan of wild cats that battle other clans." Or is it... "Fireheart is in a clan of wild cats that battles other clans?" Or are both ok? Also, could I say "Fireheart is in a clan of wild cats who battle(s?) other clans." I just changed "that" to "who."
I hope this is in the right place, I apologize if it isn't, I just joined!

Welcome to EF, linzy. All the sentences are OK. Using 'who' for non-humans is usually not preferred, but these seem to be anthropomorphized cats.
